Wexford Racing Abandoned

The Friday evening meeting at Wexford has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track. Officials had called a 9am inspection following heavy rain but an earlier check showed the track to be unraceable.

With the odds of winning at 54,500/1, this was a massive wave of luck crippiling the british bookmaker Ladbrokes, the asian male picked all 6 winners at the Ladies Day last thursday at The Royal Ascot. The punter picked the following horses - South Central at 11-4, Michita at 100-30, Yeats at 11-8, Fifteen Love at 28-1, Collection at 13-2 and Colony at 11-2. The bet was placed days before the Royal Ascot racing event using an Accumulator bet where the winnings odds are multiplied against the stake. The winner has not collected his winnings yet.

 

Rain Delays Second England Match

Tajaaweed To Be Dropped In Distance

Tajaaweed who finished 8th in the Epsom Vodafone Derby looks set to be dropped in distance following his creditable effort this weekend. Tajaweed the Dee Stakes winner, trained by Sir Michael Stoute, fell behind after making a great effort earlier on then later burning out.

“We’ll certainly be dropping him in trip. We’re going to give him a bit of time, we are not going to be rushing him anywhere,” said Angus Gold, racing manager to owner Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum.

“I’m sure Sheikh Hamdan will want to give him a bit of time.”

Gold was happy with Tajaaweed’s performance and believes it was an above-average renewal of the Derby.

The racing at Nottingham has been forced to be abandon this afternoon due to a waterlogged track, Continuous rain in the area yesterday had put the meeting in question and the course has not dried up sufficiently enough for the fixture to go ahead.

 

Boylesports Irish 1,000 Guineas

Carribean Sunset and Tuscan Evening are both running in the BOYLESPORTS IRISH 1,000 GUINEAS today at Curragh, the race kicks of at 3:35. Carribean Sunset has some nice form coming 1st in here last two races and has previously won at the racing distance before. Carribean Sunset is currently a big 11/1 to back and 12/1 to lay on the betfair exchange.

Tuscan Evening a 3-year-old filly has shown past form for an Each Way bet, coming 2nd and 3rd most races. Coming in at a massive 230/1 on the betfair exchange its worth a bet.
