Is It A Horse? Or A Super Horse?

May 11, 2008

horseBased on what he has achieved on the track Georgebernardshaw Longchamp 2.50 can’t yet be described as a superhorse. After all his best performance so far is a win in a Listed event at The Curragh, but he did win that event by seven lengths and created quite an impression with me. From what could be discerned from the television screen, the horse looked a monster, well-built and strong.

His position at the front of the market (Betfair 5.6) for the French colt’s classic is probably down to his connections, A. O’Brien has rather a good record in this race, rather than the form that the horse has shown, and normally I wouldn’t be tempted to get involved. However, I was very taken with that run at The Curragh and perhaps a small interest is justified.

Looked a very rough race, with George appearing to be one of the sufferers, the fast ground didn’t appear to help either.

    Are those enough excuses?!?!

Got something to say?
