Manchester City’s victory over Portsmouth has taken some of the heat off Sven to certain extent, and he claims he is unconcerned about the future. Sven Eriksson is confident he will remain as Manchester City boss next season, he continues to play it cool and doubts over his future don’t worry him. Sven so confident of a stay at City has been given permission to customise his luxury hotel suite. There have been question marks raised for a while now over the Sven staying in Eastlands following the team’s disappointing second half.

“I have already held discussions with the boss of the hotel on what to do with my suite,” confirmed the Swedish tactician.

“My next move is to talk to the owner of City next weekend. The situation is not a worry for me. I have been around for a long time and I will stick around for a long time too.

However, Sven Goran Eriksson is not unduly worried about his future and hopes to speak to owner Thaksin Shinawatra when he visits England next weekend.
