Infallible Wins

Infallible now the favourite for next month’s 1,000 Guineas Race after victory at newmarket. Setting off at 7-2, was settled at the back by jockey Jimmy Fortune in the early stages. But when Fortune urged his mount to quicken two furlongs from home she looked in good form and impressive. Winning by three-and-a-half lengths with Festivale 10-1 in third place.

“She’s a fine filly but she’ll have to be damn good to beat the French grey filly (Natagora). Our horse is not that experienced after just two runs and Natagora has to be the one to beat at the moment.”
